In 1992, he received an award at the Prix de Lausanne, an international competition for young dancers, and made his professional debut in 1993 with John Neumeier's Hamburg Ballet. There, he was promoted to soloist in 1995 and then Principal Dancer in 1997. Dance all principal roles in John Neumeier repertoire. J. Neumeier created Vaclav Nijinsky in “Nijinsky” specially for Jiří. The ballet was received with enormous success and it has been tour in all over the world. In August of 2006, Mr. Bubeníček took an engagement as a Principal dancer with the Semperoper Ballet in Dresden, Germany. Presented with the "Prix Benois de la Danse" (Best Dancer) in 2002. He received a second place award at the 20th International Ballet Competition in Varna for his choreography of "Made on Earth", as well as the Public's Choice Award for "Prisoners of Feelings" at the 18th International Competition for Choreographers in Hanover. He has guest, as a Principal dancer, with many main leading European companies including Opéra national de Paris dancing with Étoile Aurelie Dupont and Étoile Agnes Letestu as “Arman Duval” in “La Dame aux camélias”. And different roles of his creation with Étoile Marie-Agnes Gillot. Danced in several summer Gala performances with Roberto Belle - Roberto Bolle and Friends (Roberto danced in Jiri’s Canon in D Major) Jiří choreographed solo for Hervé Moreau “Clair de Lune”, and Duet for Hervé and Dorotheé Gilbert. Mr. Bubenicek has created new works, such as; story ballet after the well known Oscar movie by Jane Campion“The Piano” for Dortmund Ballet, or full length story ballet “Doctor Zhivago” for The Ljubljana Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballet, “The Soldier’s Tale” another story ballet with actor, “Toccata” for New York City Ballet, "Le Souffle de l ́Esprit" for Zurich Ballet and staged it for Manuel Legris ́Vienna State Ballet, and North Carolina Dance Theater, for Mariinsky thetar and for San Francisco ballet “Gentle Memories”, for Tokyo City Ballet “L’Heure Bleue”, Royal Ballet School in London, or ”Unerreichbare Orte" for Hamburg Ballet, “Die Innere Stimme” for Dresden Semperoper Ballet, “Outrenoir” for China National Ballet, "Graffity" for Laterna Magika in Prague and others. Jiří has created “Outrenoir” for Zhu Yan, China's Prima-ballerina. She has received award “Benois de la Dance” in Moscow for dancing Jiří’s choreography. (Created for The National Ballet of China, Premiere: 24th of April 2010, in Beijing) He has presented several times his choreographic works in Japan, Tokyo or Sapporo and throughout Europe. In May 2009 Mr. Bubeníček together with his twin brother Otto created Gala performance “Bubeníček and Friends” - their performance which has for two evenings received standing ovation in National Theather in Prague. Another performances of their group created by the brothers, presenting Jiří’s choreographies and Otto’s stage, costume design and music, was perform with the name “Bubeníček Ballet World” in 2011 in Auditorium Conciliazione di Roma and touring around Czech republic. January 2013 formed company called “Les Ballets Bubeníček” that has presented shows, 5 Jiří’s choreographies with 16 dancers from Semperoper Dresden, Hamburg Ballet and Paris Opera, a 3 hour long show in Japanese best theater - Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo under the show title “Bubenicek New Year Gala”. 15th of May 2011 “Ballett für Japan” or “Dance for the Land of the Rising Sun” was a charity Ballet gala organized and initiated by Jiří and Otto involving international dancers for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan. Principal dancers from all German main big ballet companies performed in Dresden’s incredible art museum Albertinum to help Japan. He danced in Donna Feuer's film documentary: "The Work of Utopia", as well as the leading role in Aaron Watkin’s “The Nutcracker” shown in December 2011 by TV Arte, leading role "The King Ludwig II." in the DVD production in John Neumeier ́s "Illusions - like Swan Lake” and in "Death in Venice". In 2005 TV Arte made a documentary film about Jiří and his twin brother Otto "Die Ballett-Zwillinge" (“The Ballet Twins”). Ballet Class with Iana Salenko #1
Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Iana Salenko was the youngest dancer at 16 playing principal roles at Donetsk Ballet in 1999. In 2001, she became Principal Dancer at Kiev Ballet and then Principal Dancer at Staatsballett Berlin in 2007. Her repertoire with Staatsballett Berlin includes Vladimir Malakhov’s Cinderella and The Sleeping Beauty, Nacho Duato's The Sleeping Beauty, Patrice Bart’s The Nutcracker, John Cranko’s Onegin and Romeo and Juliet, George Balanchine’s Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux and Peter Schaufuss’ La Sylphide. Salenko is currently Guest Principal of The Royal Ballet where she debuted as Kitri in Carlos Acosta’s Don Quixote in 2013 and performed in Balanchine’s Diamond in 2017. Salenko won the gold medal and the Diaghilev Award at the 2002 Serge Lifar International Ballet Competition. In 2004, she won the gold medal at ÖTR Contest Vienna, the gold medal and the Natalia Makarova Award at ARABESQUE Ballet Competition and third prize at Varna International Ballet Competition. The following year, she was awarded gold medals at the International Ballet Competitions in Helsinki and Nagoya. She won accolades in the Dance Open International Dance Festival in 2012, 2014 and 2016. Italian magazine Danza&Danza named Salenka "Best Female Dancer of the Year” in 2016. Salenko regularly performs as a guest artist around the world, with engagements in Florence, Munich, Moscow, St Petersburg, Rome, Essen, Bratislava, Slovenia and many more.

Silvia Azzoni Born in Torino/Italy, Silvia Azzoni completed her dance education at the School of the Hamburg Ballet. She is a member of the Hamburg Ballet ensemble since 1993, was appointed Soloist in 1996 and Principal dancer in 2001. The creations with John Neumeier includes roles such as Olga Preobrajenska in „Nijinsky“, Silvia in „Préludes CV“, The Angel in „Weihnachtsoratorium I–VI“, The Concept in „ Death in Venice“ and The Rival (Sarah Bernhardt) in „Duse“. In Stephan Thoss Choreografie „Rennen hinter dem was flieht“ she created the role of „ the woman“ , Jiří Bubeníček created for her „Unerreichbare Orte“ and Yuka Oishi „Ouroboros“ for „Junge Choreografen“ 2015. In Lloyd Riggins Bournonvilles“s version of „Napoli“ she created Teresina. Silvia Azzoni was awarded in: 1996 with the „ Dr-Wilheim-Oberdörffer Preis“ 2004 with the „ Danza&Danza Preis“ 2006 with the „ Ralf Mares Preis“ for her interpretation in The Little Mermaid 2008 with the „ Benoise de la Danse „ for her outstanding interpretation in „ The Little Mermaid“ Les Étoile de Ballett2000 Dance Award In 2013 she got the „ Positano Preis“ as Outstanding Female Dancer. 2014 " Premio Roma." In 2016 she became „ Cavaliere of the order of Merit „ from the Repubblica Italiana.

Katherina Markowskaja was born in Kiev (Ukraine), where she also completed her training at the National Ballet Academy of Arts with flying colors and recognition. Already in the school, she was invited to perform with the Kiev State Ballet . When she was 16 years old, she accepted a scholarship from Konstanze Vernon, came to Munich and become a graduate of the Bosl Stiftung Academy. Right after her exams she was immediately employed by the Saxon State Opera Dresden under the direction of the Russian ballet star Vladimir Derevianko, who named her 2 years later as a Principal Dancer. After 10 years of leading the company she changed to Bavarian States Ballet and became an international Principal Guest Artist. She participates many essential dance events and festivals and works as invited guest with other companies. She worked with many renowned choreographers and teachers like John Neumeier ,Jiri Kylian ,Vladimir Vassiliev, Uwe Scholz ,Tom Schilling ,Peter Zuska ,Krzystof Pastor ,Patricia Neary , Nanette Glushak ,Lorca Myasin, Andrea Hall ,William Burmann, Yannick Boquin ,Cynthia Harvey ,David Dawson, Stephan Thoss, Noëlla Pontois, Giselle Roberge, Johan Inger... Mr. William Forsythe created 2 pieces for her, Richard Sigal and Terence Kohler as well . In 1999 she was honored with Mary Wigman price. Since 2012 she is also passing her knowledge and experience, traveling and teaching around the world.
